Rick has partnered with the Internet Archive to make 2,100 films from Prelinger Archives available online for free viewing, downloading and reuse. Rick’s taught in the MFA Design program at New York’s School of Visual Arts and lectured widely on U.S. cultural and social history and on the cultural and social commons. With Megan Prelinger, he’s co-founder of the Prelinger Library , an appropriation-friendly private research library that’s open to the public, located in downtown San Francisco.
