The Aeolian Ride (2010) is comprised of 52 suits that inflate when 52 people go for a bike ride. Participation in the ride is free and is open to the public. The spirit of riding a bicycle for the first time is embodied both by those riding and those watching. The ride changes the ordinary landscape into a moving sculpture paying homage to the bicycle, the riders and the wind. This ride has traveled to 12 cities around the world and continues on to wherever it is invited. Currently Jessica is working on making costumes for a children’s Aeolian Ride.
