I-Weather, open source artificial climate (fabric | ch)

fabric | ch
Participants: up to 20

Based on the project fabric | ch will present during the 2010 01SJ Biennial -I-Weather as Deep Space Public Lighting- we are inviting people to a short conceptual intro of I-Weather and mainly to understand how its existing applications were implemented – from web to DMX through mobile programming (iPhone, Android). We’ll introduce them to the open source libraries (javascript, Flash, Processing) that they can download for free on www.i-weather.org and help them start their own application. This is a technically, “hands on” oriented workshop. People need to come with their own laptop, Flash and/or Processing installed on it.

Christian Babski, programmer of the I-Weather applications and Patrick Keller, architect, both from fabric | ch, will run the workshop.
