September 17 – October 9, 2010, Thursdays – Saturdays, 1-6pm is a month-long festival of art, performance, sound, workshops, demos and lectures focusing on cutting-edge artistic experiments in the intersection of art and technology. This year we are exploring technological experimentation, open source methodologies, collaboration, accessibility, and interactivity with special emphasis on biotechnology. Featured artists include Kaisu Koski, David Bowen, Harry Crofton, Boo Chapple, Marijke Jorritsma, and many others.

The Lab is an interdisciplinary arts organization supporting the development and presentation of new visual, performing, media, sonic and literary art. We assist artists in the creation of new work and showcase work of the highest quality by emerging and underrepresented experimental artists. Of particular interest is work that crosses boundaries, encourages evolving artistic and social dialogue between artists and audiences, and develops the culture and community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
