In 2010, besides our hugely popular Opening Night (Thursday) and AbsoluteZERO (Friday), we have added two new events – a spectacular, pre-Biennial, outdoor, limited space, Still Life with Banquet (Tuesday), and Green Prix (Saturday), a family-friendly day for all things eco-motive, from electric Porches to mobile city parks.

Still Life with Banquet is an epicurean and media collaboration between chef Kitty Greenwald and media artist Grahame Weinbren, which investigates the contradictions present in 17th and 18th Century Dutch still-life paintings by translating them into a contemporary context.

AbsoluteZER0 is a vibrant street festival where the public can engage with art, music, science, and technology in new and compelling ways outside on city streets.

The Green Prix is an eclectic parade and post race festival of sustainable transportation, beginning in the South Hall parking lot and proceeding down South First Street through the SoFA district.

Collecting the Impossible will feature prominent multimedia artists, collectors, gallerists and art critics who will explore the historical dynamics of collecting digital art and building an art market for challenging work.
